La Nucia is a small in the lovely municipality of Valencia of Spain strategically located in a fruit valley between Benidorm and Callosa d'En Sarrià, 3 km from the coast of Altea. The urban centre is situated on cape that overlooks Mediterranean Sea. Sierra Aitana and Aixortà surround it and protect it from the cold northern winds.

Parque Natural de la Serra Gelada. 2.5 kms walk through the clean natural park of Albir to the lighthouse. Breathtakingly beautiful, the magnificent views at the lighthouse are well worth the steady uphill walk, imagine being the lookout for pirates centuries ago

This beautiful church is located in the small square which leads to the viewpoint of Mirador Cronsistas de Espana and is worth visiting just for the views.

To get there
La Nucia is situated 51 kms to the north-west of Alicante and the airport, and only 10 km away from the most popular tourist resort on the Northern Costa Blanca, Benidorm.
You can get to La Nucía by road using the Motorway of the Mediterranean (A-7) and turning off at nº 65 exit. The N-332 road is the parallel axis to the Valencian Coast, which connects La Nucía with Alicante and Valencia. There are three main exits to La Nucía: Terra Mítica, Benidorm and Altea.
